I was looking to breed my late HPA May Hana mare to
produce a grey Arabian sport horse, I was led to a stallion that resided in
Wausau with the Marathon Farm. High Fashion Fersa was what I was looking for
in a typey complete Arabian horse. Fersa was older, in good condition, and
developed quality get. He had good bone, flat knees, muscle tone, blood
lines, and disposition that he passed on to his foals. The package included
presence; and that distinctive Arabian head. I bred twice to him before he
passed away at the age of 28. Out of the two resulting colts, XH Mammoth,
was chosen to carry on Fersa's legacy. The small amount of get Mammoth has
produced to date has shown that they're what sport horse breeders look for;
solidly built athletes, bone, defined - well placed withers for correct
saddle placement, and good shoulder slope. Mammoth has strong loins with
good muscling on thigh and gaskin that produces drive from behind that
propels the rider in a fluid forward motion with rhythmic gates. He has a
good mind that is willing to work and enjoy the task at hand and the get of
XH MAMMOTH will be mounts of sport horse quality. The added package is
the beautiful heads he will put on this babies. |
